In this recent blog post. IU media specialist and health/wellness blogger Tracy James comments thoughtfully on Distinguished Professor Emerita Susan Gubar’s new book, Memoir of a Debulked Woman. Gubar, co-author of the signature feminist book The Madwoman in the Attic (1979), has a long history of applying honest, clarifying critical thinking to topics too long ignored. Now she turns that attention to herself and the “unspeakable subject” of ovarian cancer and its treatment.
